A must read for every Lab puppy owner

I have had Labs for years. I have read many different book but I think this is the best one yet. I love this ladies outlook on Labs and training. She explains the reasons behind the behaviors, then teaches the reader how to fix bad actions and reinforce the good ones.
Well written, easy to read and understand. Get this book before you get a puppy and you will be well prepared to create a happy healthy environment for you and your fur friend.

This is a superb guide to positive training for your puppy. The advice parallels what I've learned from working with several professional trainers, but the book explains things so clearly and is always there as a reference for me. The subjects are well organized and it covered everything we needed to know bringing home our new lab puppy. He's now almost 5 months and a joy to live with. Everything in this book worked for us.

Fantastic book!

Great book!!! If you like thelabradorsite, this book has all the information that is on that site put into a logical order. I wasn't sure if I'd need this book too after reading that site in depth, but I have found it quite helpful. I really like all the background the book gives on why puppies behave the way they do. It really helps me to understand how to best bond, nurture and train my new puppy. I suggest this book for all new and prospective puppy owners. I would say it is best to read this book well in advance of brining your new puppy home, but I believe it is still quite helpful (to you and your new addition) to read at any point during your puppy's young life.
